Tired

We've had Vacation Bible School all week.  Tomorrow is the last day!!!  It is hard to keep up with because we have to get the whole 1st floor of the building cleaned up every afternoon.  They really make a mess, especially in the preschool area.  They feed the kids in their rooms in the preschool, sticky floors.  We're supposed to be off today but we had to work this afternoon to get it ready for tomorrow.  Tomorrow night there will be a dinner for the kids and their families.  We'll have to clean that up and then get the gym (which is where we have our meals) ready for an American Cancer Society fundraiser that they are going to have in there all day Saturday.  I guess it's good that we are so busy.  It means that we are doing things and being involved in the community.  But it sure is a lot of work.

We bought a new fragrance thingie.  You put a tea light in the bottom of it and water and essential oil in a little basin on top.  It's very cute and the oil smells good.  We can get several different kinds of oils so we can change out the smell.

I guess next week our new worker will start and Mr. Grouch will have a different job.  Actually he will have pretty much the same job in the sense that he repairs things but he won't be dealing with the public and he won't be our boss.  He still doesn't know that the new person will be taking on some of his responsibilities.  I wonder if sparks will fly next week.  We'll see.

Sassy is doing just fine.  She took all her meds and her digestive track is back to normal.

Today is my wedding anniversary.  We have been married 22 years.  We really didn't get to do anything to celebrate because we had to work.  Don't have enough money to do much of anything anyway.

The weather is hot and dry.  There is a high pressure system over us.  We're still pretty much in a drought.

Photos of the day, more parade pictures, men in skirts, old cars and tractors.

Observe always that everything is the result of change, and get used to thinking that there is nothing Nature loves so well as to change existing forms and to make new ones like them.

Love the men in kilts! I hope work soon settles down into its usual routine for you. I imagine you come home exhausted each evening!
