Thanksgiving Day

We had our dinner at noon. My mother and brother came over. I was surprised that my mother came, I half expected her not to. The steps up on our deck are kinda steep for her but she made it OK. We had turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, cranberry sauce, rolls, pecan pie and pumpkin pie. Some things were gluten free and some were not but I had plenty to eat. I did not overeat, the food was good but I just didn't want to stuff myself. My family stayed for a couple of hours. I think they were going to ride out to the Refuge when they left our place. After they left Bill took a nap and I walked Sassy.

The weather is gorgeous today, nice and clear, no clouds.

Yesterday we went down to Wichita Falls to Lucy Park. I got some good photos and Sassy enjoyed sniffing around. She still gets carsick though but she did hold out until we got home, then she barfed. Sometimes she does OK if we stop often enough and let her out to walk around. I should have stopped on the way home but I drove straight through. Oh well. Poor Sassy.

Photo of the day, one taken at Lucy Park. They have a little thing, building, whatever you want to call it that looks like a Pagoda, cute.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.
John 15:4-5
