Warm Day

The temp was in the 80's today and tomorrow it will be in the 50's. Our peach tree doesn't look so good. I think the cold temps the other night zapped it. It's still early in the season maybe it'll recover. We never got many peaches off of it because we couldn't beat the birds to them. I still haven't planted any flowers because I'm waiting until after the day of the last freeze, I think that's around April 15. I have a bunch of pots, maybe I'll put some flowers in pots this year. I haven't done that in several years. I would still like to plant some tulips. I don't think I'll buy plants from Walmart they don't seem to last very long. Plants from the nursery seem to be more healthy.

We took Sassy to the city park and wore her out. When she got home she got a drink and then flopped down to rest. Of course we interfered with her afternoon nap. We had to work this afternoon sitting up for a spaghetti luncheon tomorrow. We had to wait until a birthday party was over before we could sit up the luncheon. The luncheon is put on by the Children's Division to raise money to help kids go to camp this year. I hope they are able to sponsor several kids. I baked a cake for the bake sale that they will have at the same time.
