We had a funeral today. A gentleman who was 80 years old. His wife passed away almost 2 years ago, she was a good friend of mine. I wasn't as close to him. He was always very dependant on her and when she left he really didn't want to go on either. He has a son, daughter-in-law and 2 grand-kids.
We visited DH's mother yesterday and took flowers to her. We went over to my mom's house a little while ago and she wasn't home. I think I'll call first before we try to go over there again. We have to go by the church first and lock up after a graduation party. We won't be able to visit on Mother's Day, that's a work day for us.
Tomorrow we have to work for a couple of hours then we'll go to the Arts for All Festival. Then in the afternoon we have to clean up after a baby shower. Always something going on.
Photo of the day, thanks to all the rain we had mushrooms growing in our yard. DH mowed over them yesterday.

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him.
Nahum 1:7

Oh to rest in that refuge...
Lovely 'shrooms, but don't put 'em in your soup!
