Shopping

We weren't planning on going out and fighting the crowds today but DH found some stuff in the sale papers that would make good gifts. So we took a chance and went to the Mall. We're only buying for DH's parents, my mom and brother and each other. We got gifts for everyone except each other. Whew, it was seriously crowded but we did survive.

The weather was gorgeous today. We got a tiny bit of rain yesterday, we could really use a down pour but I guess that ain't gonna happen.

The battery died in our car while we were eating breakfast at Wayne's. Fortunately there was a young man there who was willing to give us a jump start. We made it to the store and got a new battery put in. It took a couple of hours because our car is unusual and they had to send out for a battery. Figures, we always end up with "unusual" things. We had Sassy with us and at first she was really stressed out by the auto shop, all the noise and people but she eventually calmed down.

MIL wants to buy a new video camera for herself so she gave DH her old camera. We went over there to get it. She is recovering from pneumonia and hopefully they aren't smoking anymore. They had a sign on the door, "no smoking, oxygen in use."
